Importer Security Filing (10+2) is a government mandate requiring importers to file additional data elements for all shipments entering the U.S. via ocean cargo. Importer Security Filing Customs Bond Requirements

U.S. Customs has amended the following four continuous Customs bonds to secure Importer Security Filing.

Activity Code 1 - Importer or Broker Single Transaction or Continuous Customs Bond
Activity Code 2 - Bonded Custodian Bond, Continuous Bond Only
Activity Code 3 - International Carrier Bond, Single or Continuous Customs Bond
Activity Code 4 - Foreign Trade Zone Operator Bond, Continuous Bond only

Importer Security Filing penalties will be assessed at $5,000.
