{"id":140,"date":"2010-02-03T21:52:04","date_gmt":"2010-02-03T21:52:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/trgbond.wordpress.com\/?p=140"},"modified":"2021-07-16T09:28:29","modified_gmt":"2021-07-16T15:28:29","slug":"do-i-need-a-continuous-bond-to-cover-my-isf","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/traderiskguaranty.com\/trgpeak\/do-i-need-a-continuous-bond-to-cover-my-isf\/","title":{"rendered":"Is a Continuous Bond Needed to Cover My ISF?"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3>Learn more about what satisfies the requirement for Importer Security Filing when having a continuous bond.<\/h3>\n<h2>Importer Security Filing (ISF) Customs Bond Requirements<\/h2>\n<p>A new continuous bond referred to as the \u201cAppendix D\u201d bond is the other continuous Customs bond that will cover an ISF.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/traderiskguaranty.com\/customs-bonds\/#ac1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Activity Code 1<\/a> &#8211; Importer or Broker Single Transaction or Continuous Customs Bond<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/traderiskguaranty.com\/customs-bonds\/#ac2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Activity Code 2<\/a> &#8211; Bonded Custodian Bond, Continuous Bond Only<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/traderiskguaranty.com\/customs-bonds\/#ac3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Activity Code 3<\/a> &#8211; International Carrier Bond, Single or Continuous Customs Bond<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/traderiskguaranty.com\/customs-bonds\/#ac4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Activity Code 4<\/a> &#8211; Foreign Trade Zone Operator Bond, Continuous Bond only<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>U.S. Customs has amended the following four types of a <a href=\"https:\/\/traderiskguaranty.com\/customs-bonds\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">continuous Customs\u00a0bond<\/a> to secure Importer Security Filing.\u00a0CPB is also allowing importers to secure the ISF with a new ISF single entry bond. TRG has opted to continue to only provide the bonds amended for ISF rather than the Appendix D bond.
