Job Description:
• Developing or assisting in the development of international trade software applications. • Coding, testing and debugging programs according to detailed requirements.
• Supporting the maintenance of existing applications software.
• Participating on and/or leading a team that designs, develops, tests and implements software applications.
• Supporting and providing quality customer service in the development, and integration of software applications and systems that enable customers to successfully meet their business goals.
• Understanding of and/or experience with life cycles as applies to software development.

Requirements:
1. Understanding of software development. For example, assignments would show, on the basis of general design criteria provided, experience in developing modifications to parts of a system that required significant revisions in the logic or techniques used in the original development. Accomplishments normally involve the following, or the equivalent:
• Ability to work with program representatives to: Identify and specify requirements; Identify specific operations, processes, transactions, data, and work products adaptable to automation; and develop specifications for inputs and outputs, systems interfaces, and other design features.
• Using available tools, techniques, and standards to produce detailed systems specifications, prepare test plans, and define acceptance criteria.
• Participating in systems integration testing and applies test results to modify specifications and correct problems and faults as necessary
• Knowledge of the customary approaches, techniques, and requirements appropriate to an assigned computer applications area or computer specialty area in an organization;

2. Bachelors of Computer Science, engineering, information systems management, or technology management or in one or more of the fields identified above and required the development or adaptation of applications, systems or networks.

3. Willingness and ability to assist in IT systems deployment and maintenance and achieve an Avaya phone systems certification.
